A blast of hops meet an ancient Norwegian yeast strain to create an insane citrus explosion. A wheat beer the Austin Beerworks way. No fruit wedge required.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear amber color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a touch of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is very strong of a wheat bread smell mixed with some light herbal smells and a touch of caramel. Along with these aromas comes some very light citrus and a touch of hay.
Taste – The taste is very heavy of a wheat bread taste, with that flavor being the dominate amongst the flavors. Along with these tastes comes some tastes of a light hay and herbal taste as well as a touch of grass. As the taste moves on a touch of orange citrus and lemon as well as a tiny amount of herb comes to the tongue, leaving one with a very heavy wheat bread taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thick and chewy with a carbonation level that is rather low. For the wheat bread flavors the feel is great and makes of a nice slow sipper (even though it is at a low abv.)
Overall – A rather decent and very wheat bready wheat ale. Not spicey and not sweet. A rather nice malty wheat brew.

hazy orange-gold body pours with an excited billowing foam head that I swear looks like it has an orange tinge gracing the burnt-cream color; the head has moderately high retention
smells of orange peel, light malt, and a pinch of funk
taste is orange soda up front - like, a bite of orange with soda-carbonation packed into it. faint earthy hop bitterness peppers a cracker malt, followed by coriander cracked spice medley and cracked pepper. wheat yeasty funk flows in and out, washing (carrying really) the spiced notes.
moderately carbonated, lighter-side of medium bodied. carbonation is soft, mouthfeel is pillowy, with a subtle dry finish that has an earthy and spiced shade to it.
overall:
highly enjoyable session brew with plenty of nuances to appreciate and savor. will cash in for a sixer next round
