One of my faves from a local Denton brewery. It doesn't try to be anything extreme, just a full-bodied smooth drinking IPA.
Look is a bit cloudy, smell is hoppy but not overdone, taste is a balance citrus, hops, not overly sweet or bitter. Feel is a hint on the creamy side.

Golden But not too clear. Head is white and disperses quickly. Nose it slightly citrusy. Taste it a bit bitter, slightly grapefruit and slightly dry. Good beer from a great state.

A very strong smelling IPA with a small head. I chose this one because it smelled the strongest. The hop flavors don’t carry on like some others but it’s very drinkable. Overall this is a good IPA from the locals in Denton. I’d drink it again.

Golden copper color, nearly clear, light tan head. Piney, resiny hops dominate the nose, and there's also a nice malt component.
The taste is piney hops up front, a bit of citrus, and a beefy caramalt backbone. Just an excellent "traditional" IPA.

From a crowler packaged 7/14/2017, tasted on 7/16/2017.
Appearance: Deep golden, near perfect clarity, medium chalk-white head drops somewhat quickly but persists around the rim, lots of lacing
Aroma: Medium-high hops - citrus and resin at first, with some floral and tropical notes underneath, Pleasant fruity esters, almost 'perfumey' (in a good way), a hint of boozy alcohol, Some clean, grainy/bready malt is hiding in there too but it's harder to find.
Taste: Big hit of citrus and dank resin hops at first, followed by complex, more subtle tropical (mango/passionfruit) and floral character. Some mild grassiness in the finish merges with a crisp, clean, bready malt flavor. The esters and alcohol combine with the hop character to add a pleasant, berry-like flavor to the mix. Smooth hop bitterness that seems somewhat lower than the listed IBU (75) might suggest.
Mouthfeel: Medium to medium-light in body, moderate carbonation, just a hint of hop-derived astringency as might be expected for the style.
Overall: I really like this one, though it's hard to pin down. It has the 'juicy' hop and ester character, and the smooth bitterness, of an East Coast IPA, yet the appearance and crispness of a west coast IPA. It is very easy drinking and makes a great warm weather IPA, though the deceptive ABV might get one in trouble if not careful. A welcome addition to the Texas market and definitely my favorite IPA in the North Texas region.
