Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned August 6th 2019.
Big beaming, and frothy large forming off white colored head out of the can. Controlled, but with a good amount of staying power and retention. Very fine bubbles in the head creation as well, sitting on a very solid clear body of pale amber brown.
The hop aroma is quite subtle but nice. Hints slightly floral, with a good perfume like nose. It's a bit fleeting and doesn't convey too much for an IPA. A solid simple neutral malt presence and yeast is presented.
Palate is quite clean and simple. A bit of floral and juicy bitterness, mixing with some nice caramel malt sweetness in the mid palate. There's a good finish of light hop oily character but it washes away pretty quickly on the finish. Simple malt backbone gives the hops to shine. Strong but mellow pine like lingering bitterness on the finish
Solid DIPA, like that it's in the lower abv bracket, but the hop character isn't too well distinct or memorable.

A: The beer is crystal clear light yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that consisted entirely of medium-sized bubbles. Most of these bubbles faded away, leaving a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of grapefruit citrus and pine are present in the the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a bit stronger flavors of grapefruit and pine, the latter of which is most noticeable towards the finish. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation with a slight amount of crispness.
O: This IPA is easy to drink, but the aromas, flavors, and level of carbonation all seem to be muted.

Double dry hopped, canned 8/10/18...
Medium-gold color, hazy but translucent; finger or so of off-white foam on top... Nice soft, mild fruit character rounded off by a light pine breeze and a hint of chewy resin... Sugars are moderate, bitterness mild, but with a faint shellac left behind... Medium-light feel, moderate carbonation, lingering fruit leather on the palate...
Pretty good stuff, not as fresh as I'd prefer for a beer I've not had before, but it represented well...

A-hazy golden yellow color with three fingers worth of white head
S-very light aroma of citrus
T-citrus, some pine, and bready pale malt
M-medium body and light to medium carbonation
Overall not my favorite from 3 Stars and not their best DIPA. A little light on flavor and aroma.

Look is somewhat hazy
Smell isn't really there
Taste is citrus with a hint of melon
Overall, this does not taste like a DIPA. It drink more like a session IPA
