Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) glass into a custom Sam Adams pint; canned on 25 April 2018.
A: Pours an ever so slightly hazy straw to golden color with a one inch, white head, decent retention and fair lacing.
S: Aromas of tropical fruit, especially mango and pineapple, with apple and apricot.
T: Dry. Fruit flavors remain present, but blended with a strong peppery bitterness. Almost minty.
M: Light to medium bodied with modest persistence of effervescence.
O: Overall a very enjoyable, fruity hopped DIPA. A little more peppery than my personal taste, but this is very well made. Nice collaboration by 3 Stars and Captain Lawrence.
