picked this up on one of my multiple trips to rural maryland (calvert county rules I tell ya)
eyes...
2 full fingers of head pop up immediately, of the white variety, the bubbles are kind of craggy and uneven like the surface of 101955 bennu, light golden straw in tint containing a spinning dervish of bubbles in the center of the glass, fine looking enough I suppose, nothing that made me scream supreme, or sing like the supremes or want to make a chicken supreme (accent over the first e, fancy me the chef)
second pour note... it got cloudy, was this settled ? hmmm strange but it has been in my cellar...
nose...
a nice citrus blend, not heavy, some nice grain notes, a hair of pine, pretty decent, subdued
taste etc...
decent carbonation (could use a little more lip smackin' bite imo), very mild in all aspects (although the ABV seems to be hitting above it's listed pay-grade in strength not stature), much better in the cloudy state, almost just a slightly ticked up normal APA, kind of gets more enjoyable as you go along, just enough bitter to keep you honest, a nice mix of hops throughout, tropical (but not over the top) and citrusy, balanced... yeah, that would be the adjective
verdict?
a good beer, sneaky good, cajoles it's way into your house and convinces you to let it stay far too long after dinner (and probably stole your guest towels but you can't prove it), I will check out this brewery's offerings more closely next time I am down in Prince Frederick or thereabouts (because if I don't bring back crabcakes from Stoney's a few times a year I am a dead man)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
