16oz can into a tulip.
Look: Pours a deep cola colored brown, almost black. No light penetration, a light brown finger-width head dissipates quickly into a very thin ring of foam around the rim.
Smell: Roasted malts, Hazelnut, a little bit of coconut and wood on the tail end.
Taste: The roasted malt flavor hits the tongue first, but the sweetness of the hazelnut and coconut balance it out quickly and linger slightly.
Feel: A bit thinner than I was expecting, but not unpleasant. Call it the lighter side of medium-bodied.
Overall: Quite nice. I like that there's a decent upfront punch of roasted malt, but the sweetness makes it easier to keep drinking.
