Can from 6-pack in KC, poured into pint glass at home a week later. Beautiful. Well, average appearance, but quenching drinkability with Belgian kick

Poured from a 12oz can into a tulip glass. L: 1 finger head fades to a thin ring. Limited lacing. Golden color. S: yeast, and Belgian tripel dry fruit. T: noble hops mixed with malt. But definitely not sweet malty. Kind of mineral which hides a lot of the depth when cold. F: 6.5% but not distracting. Good mouthfeel. A bit crisp with dryness to match hops and finished beyond sweet malty. O: Not my perfect beer, but definitely a good one with character.

L: blonde/Tripel look. Decent head. No retention. Nice lace.
S: I get little here. Not a bad smell. but nothing special
T: good taste. Not amazing. I taste the yeast and that's about all
F: has a slight Belgian sting.
O: not a bad beer. But nothing to preach about. Middle of the road.

Pours a slightly cloudy deep yellow with a thin white head. Head retention is mediocre, with a few lines of lacing lasting after a sip. Aroma has a sharp, Belgian spice and yeast notes, with subtler hints of banana, clove, and dark fruits. While very stereotypical, it certainly invites you in for a sip. The flavor profile is very similar, with a spike of Belgian spice and spicy yeast from the onset. More subtle notes of banana and dark fruits with a biscuit malt finish. Mouth feel is harsh, and abrasive. It feels a bit thin as well. Overall, it's a solid brew, but lacks a little oomph in the taste and feel categories. The aroma is quite nice.
Served in a 12oz snifter.
