An American Style IPA. Smooth Malt taste has a touch of toasted malt flavor which accents the hops. Strong citrus flavors and aromas come from the triple dry hopping.

12oz can. Date stamp on bottom reads 'IPA 24 - 64 + 65 9/25/24 DRINK LOCAL'. About 26 weeks in the can.
Partly cloudy, deep gold colored body. One finger of white head, and this slowly recedes to a thin cap and higher ring. Leaves behind webs and strings of lacing.
Aroma of citrus hops and toasted grain malts.
Taste is kind of sweet citrus hops (orange and tangerine) and sweet toasted malts. Bitterness level is medium. Fade in the aftertaste goes to the hops which express bright citrus fruits, a little pine, and a sweet malt base.
Medium mouthfeel. Slightly sticky texture. Bitter base but no burn. Very good carbonation.
Leaves behind a scenic pattern of lacing, and has held up quite well for its age. Well known IPA profile.

Orange and hazy, Hard Way really smells good. The taste is good and hoppy. The malt has some differences but it’s a good blend. Mouthfeel is nice. Overall I’m having another. $5 at the Red Door in Liberty, MO.

I tried an 8oz glass of this beer off the tapper at the Overland Park location. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had good bitter citrus and pine hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There crystal light malt base with mild bitter citrus and pine resin presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Slightly hazy golden color with a modest foamy white head and some decent lacing. The aroma is light caramel malt, pine and citrus. The taste is pine, up front and in the finish with a bit of grapefruit and caramel in the middle, moderate bitterness. The body is light/medium, moderate carbonation, very drinkable. Altogether, this is a pretty decent West Coast IPA, refreshing and enjoyable.

Hard pour, tons of head. Full-on west coast IPA. Hoppy and bitter. Can from KC had two weeks later at home.

Appearance: After a moderately hard pour the head settles in at two fingers capping the slightly hazy golden liquid; splashy lacing
Smell: Pine forest aromatics
Taste: Brash, piney flavors from the get-go with just a hint of biscuity malt underneath; almost sappy, through the middle, as the bitterness builds with the pine tones lingering into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: In a world of citrus and tropical fruit, Martin City swerves in the direction of the pine; a nice change of pace and a bit of the old school
