25oz bottle. Poured out a semi-opaque, deep red hue with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of raisin, plum sweet toffee. Rich and malty with some dark cherry, raisin and plum.

Look - pours a murky reddish-brown color with a 2" butterscotch-colored head. Retention is moderate with no lacing at all.
Smell - a mix of wild Belgian yeast with some wood from the barrels. A bit of booze as well.
Taste - a bit of a Flanders Red taste. You do pick up a tannic red wine taste and more of the woodiness. A slight tartness as well.
Feel - not as much funk/tartness as I would have liked. Medium body and a semi-dry finish.
Overall - some good qualities about this one but I would've liked more tartness; just a bit. I would drink it again no doubt.

"Belgian style Red ale" on the label.
Murky orange red, small amount of foam at first.
Aroma is of Belgian yeast, banana ester, slight metallic note.
Taste is better, some barrel character, lightly tart, dried fruit.
Dry oaky finish. Seems a little like a Flanders red crossed with a Dubbel in a wine barrel.
Overall it's interesting, although the metallic note was a little off putting.

2017: drinking a 2015 bottle from the brewery, which they apparently still have plenty of. It's a dark reddish brown color, thin layer of khaki foam.
Aroma of musty cork and wet wood, sweet dried fruit like red currants.
Mildly tart and tangy, not a lot of flavor, wet wood and mushrooms, a little slick in the finish. Fruity taste seems to have faded away in the last 2 years.
Overall I had remembered this having potential but i'd advise against buying an aged bottle.
