Solid attempt at the classic German style. Not quite enough bite to it, though, if you ask me. The color is a lovely golden, yet hazy blonde. Some froth, but it subsides almost instantly. Little lacing. The tartness is present but does not linger as it should. Still, a solid beer from a solid brewery.

poured from 12 oz bottle into teku glass
Appearance is fairly clear with a zinfandel-like whitish-yellow color. There is a bit of a haziness but I would call it hazy . About a 1" head formed and dissipated quickly leaving very little lacing.
Smell is of wheat, white peaches, a grape-like wine smell, slight lacto aroma as well as a tiny lemony zest smell
Taste is of a lemony tartness. Not the most tart beer ever, but you know you are drinking something of the sour variety. Wheat characteristic is present as well as a bit of an earthy, barnyard quality.
Feel is quite light-bodied and highly carbonated. As expected, the finish is quick and dry.
Overall, this is a nice easy-drinker of the tart variety. I hope I can get a few more bottles of this.
