Poured out a clear, pinkish/purple color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled tart with hints of blackberry. Nice tart bite with some hints of fruity sweetness.

a really fire berliner here with lemons and blueberries. one of the best fruited takes on the style ive ever had, and a beer that is truly ahead of the curve in so many ways. its soft faded pale purple in color, with a white and frothy head thats lively as can be, this is how it is supposed to look, not thin at all and very active. aroma here is tangy purple grape, zested lemon still waxy, quick lactic tang, and a powdered gatorade thing, all in a good way. blueberry tastes fresh and adds quite a lot to this, while the lemon stays subtle on the flavor but especially on the feel, no citric push, its all bacterial, and even that is kind of delicate as they go. creamy and wheaty feeling, bubbly and active, but also bone dry and crispy, especially for a fruit beer. the blueberry and lemon combination is amazing, and it goes well beyond the sexy color. winey and sweet blueberry, body from it, tart and sharp lemon, natural and puckery, its all just great. this is one of the best martin city beers i have ever had, and i recently learned they are canning it! cant wait to crush these all summer long, its the perfect mix of session and sour and esoteric and mass appeal. i loved it!
