I tried an 8oz glass of this beer off the tapper at the Overland Park location. It poured a copper with off white head that left some lace. The scent had good pine hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was bitter pine resin presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Pours a bourbon-brown with a little fog to it. Head foams up to a finger in height and khaki in color. Very little lacing left behind. Aroma is stuffed full of resin, with traces of pine, and citrus. Flavor profile is sticky resin notes throughout. Intermittent showings of pine, citrus, grapefruit, and biscuit malts help diversify the flavor profile. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a slightly grainy, yet sticky, feel. Overall, loads of resiny, sticky notes to this one. It provides some deviation from those one-dimensional notes to help generate some more balance, but overall resiny.
Served in a 12oz snifter.
