Appearance: Pours all foam so I had to make a do-over to produce a slightly hazy amber colored liquid; decent lacing action

Smell: Bready malts with a hint of caramel and nut; slight amount of citrus

Taste: Bready with a touch of caramel and nut tones; some citrus, through the middle, but the malt returns into the finish

Mouthfeel: Way over carbonated; light to medium body

Overall: I have a lunch that this one was mis-handled somewhere along the line though I get where the brewer was heading; just not something I would seek out again

Poured a clear, golden-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled citrusy and floral with hints of caramel. Sweet citrusy flavor with a touch of bitterness and toasted caramel.

Pours a light yellow-amber color with a slight foggy tinge to it. One finger of white head forms more on the fizzy side on top. Head retention is okay with a good ring of white foamy left behind and a few strands of lacing. Aroma is has a light body of hops, with notes of citrus, floral, and earthy. Nutty, light malts keep the hop aromas well tethered. Flavor profile is light bodied notes of citrus, floral, and earthy hop notes weaved around a malt base of biscuit, nutty, earthy malts. Mouth feel is thin and fizzy, giving it a crisp feel. Overall, the calls this an "Everyday American Ale", which is a great descriptor for it. The hop notes provide a little somethin' somethin' to the aroma and flavor profile over other lagers, and yet it drinks smooth and crisp like other simplistic pale ales and lagers. While it won't blow you away with flavor or complexity, it does a great job of providing a good flavor, in a sessionable ale.

Served in a 12oz snifter. Poured from a can.
