Pale gold with a frothy layer of surface foam.
Aroma has a sharp acetic white wine vinegar note but not too bad.
Taste is really off-putting with bad chlorine and acetic off notes. Sour lemon.
8/10 on the sour scale, well carbed with a somewhat dry vinegary finish that lingers.
Overall this was pretty flawed. The whole story that it was barrel aged for 2 years and spontaneously fermented by wild yeast from a blueberry patch caught my interest. In the end though, the beer was one dimensional and pretty hard to choke down. Definitely avoid this one, unless you drank a lot of chlorinated pool water as a kid and enjoyed it.
