This beer is described by Martin City as a hazy, New England-style IPA. However, it pours clear and clocks in at 30 IBUs. Even if this beer was categorized correctly by the brewer (as a golden ale or *maybe* an American pale ale), that would do little to improve its rating. Minimal carbonation; the taste is astringent and finishes thin.

Really disappointed with this one. I'd choose most mass marketed beers over this. Mild bitterness that really doesn't taste like hops. The flavor truly feels unintentional. And having bought this through Tavour, I paid more than I would at a store, I have a hard time accepting that the tasters at Tavour tasted what I'm tasting. I have too many great beers to finish this.

Poured from 12oz can into 20oz tulip glass. Canned on 2/6/18.
Look: Pours dark in color, as in strangely dark compared to other IPAs I have seen. 1/2" head formation that is off white in color.
Smell: Some what murky in smell, with citrus backing. Orange, pineapple, tangerine, papaya and mango evident on the nose. Something just seemed a little off. Bitterness is present on the nose as well.
Taste: Not enjoying this one. Perhaps I got a bad batch. Overly bitter, astringently so. Not getting much fruit in the taste. Sour taste to the beer.
Feel: Medium body, with medium carbonation.
Overall: I was really looking forward to this, but I was disappointed. Maybe I got a bad batch. Regardless, it is part of the experience. Cheers!
