Very dark brown/black with a moderate but lasting tan head.
The aroma is a combination of roasted coffee and dark roasted malts with some chocolate notes. The taste is dark coffee bitterness up front, roasted malt with chocolate and caramel mellowing out toward a dry crisp finish.
The body is medium, mild carbonation, very drinkable.
Altogether this is a very respectable brew, good coffee flavor, no off notes.

I bought this because I couldn’t find my usual coffee stout. Pleasantly surprised. Tastes fantastic. No odd or off putting overtones. Will buy again.

Poured hard into a pint glass. Nice tan foam head that dissipates slowly. Nice deep, dark color. Aroma is as expected, chocolate/coffee esk. Has a sharp/dry mouthfeel, which actually feels truer to style anyway, but somebody else may find it off putting. Overall, I dig it!
Side note: I don't get any green pepper thats common with coffee beers, but then I rarley notice that "off-flavor" anyway....cheers!

12oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of roasted coffee, chocolate and sweet caramel. Nice roasted coffee taste with some sharp bitterness. Sweet chocolate and toffee for balance.
