Clear dark red color with a decent tan head.
The aroma is malty with a spicy note.
The taste is a bit of allspice, figs and black currants with a toasted malt background, slightly sweet with a somewhat grassy herbal finish, mild bitterness.
The body is medium, moderate carbonation, smooth, almost oily. Altogether, this is a fairly decent winter warmer, decent for after dinner sipping or just for enjoyment during cool weather,

From a can. Pours a ruby red with a nice finger of thick tan head. Slightly hazy. Smells like brown sugar, caramel, and rich malt. The flavor is dark fruits, sweet malt, and something bitter. Medium mouthfeel but also slick. I'm not sure about it...
