Dark brown in color with a nice red hue and an off-white head that disappear quickly. The nose is all black cherry! Really nice aroma, you also smell some sweet malts, dark licorice, dark fruits, really nice smell. Taste is similar to the nose, you get loads of black cherry, some dark licorice flavors. It reminds my of Dr. Pepper, but better, no joke. Nice oak flavors too, I notice some subtle smoke. The finish is dry and sour, really interesting beer.

Bottle: Poured a deep brown color ale with a large off-white foamy head. Aroma of syrupy cherry notes is pretty intense with some residual sugar notes and light caramelized malt. Taste is a mix of intense cherry syrup with some residual sugar notes and light caramelized malt notes. Body is pretty full with good carbonation. Some good ideas with this beer but maybe lacking some cohesion and attenuation.
