A moderately strong traditional english style ale with a modern Roc Brewing Co American twist. Aromas of peach, malt, tea, almond and spice with mild sweetness and light bitterness.

On tap at Roc Brewing Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a moderately dark brown, with a small white head, and a good amount of lacing.
At 8.1%, this is not going to smell and taste like a "traditional" ESB, but it still smells nice, with bready malt and spicy and grassy hops.
The name is appropriate here, as this is quite bitter, definitely more bitter than to be expected with the style. It's quite hoppy, with lots of bitterness, spicy and herbal, with a heavy duty malt backbone, mostly bready, with a little bit of caramel sweetness.
This is medium bodied, with a pretty crisp mouthfeel, and a good level of carbonation.
I don't really know how to accurately pigeonhole the style here, but it's tasty no matter what.
