From a bottle, pours a dark brown with a fizzy light brown head.
The nose is port barrel, wet oak, dark malt, caramel, dark fruit, brown sugar. The flavor is nougat, caramel, chocolate, a hint of vanilla, and alot of port. This is very sweet. It reminds me of a dessert that just has a bit too much happening to truly enjoy.
This was a little hot too, maybe the flavors will blend more with time.
