Pretty good NEIPA!!! Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass, this beer featured a big foamy white head with somewhat better than average head retention. Thick partial bands of lacing were a ll over the sides of the glass. Nice hazy dark gold color was a contrast from the usual NEIPA straw yellow. Aroma and taste were predominantly citrus - with orange and tangerine in the lead. Rather than commonly noticed NEIPA "dankness", this beer had a sweet candy-like finish....not too over-the-top, but a bit different than most NEIPAs. Mouthfeel was crisp and light with not much bitterness. This beer was a bit strong for a session beer and better quality than a mere "lawnmower" beer but still leans towards the "more than one" category of brew.

Good draft IPA served at a top restaurant in Virginia. Beer was specified as hazy New England style. It had good color and smell, no doubt having been kept in excellent condition by the up-market restaurant. Not as strong as the top end beers from Massachusetts, but was unexpectedly good.
