New release. Picked up a growler from the Whole Foods in Springfield, VA.
Served in a Delirium Tremens.
A: Poured a reddish-brown color, infinitely murky, and without much head at all.
S: Yummy smell of almonds, sour dough bread, and maybe a hint of brown sugar and caramel, but not much.
T: Nice bitter flair, with just the right hint of sweetness, and with some nice nuttiness to boot. Tastes like Germany: Musty, mothball-esque, but oh so yummy!
M: Nice carbonation prickle, perfect bitterness, and infinitely gulpable.
O: Admittedly, I haven't been a big fan of the Lost Rhino entries I've tried so far, but this one was pretty spectacluar.
