Taster at brewery. Dark brown pour, some light sneaking through. Mild roasty aroma and taste. I felt it wasn't black or bitter enough, and the brewer agreed. This was their first cut at the style, and it sounded like they wanted to give it another go. They really appreciated honest feedback.
