Pours a clear golden color with visible carbonation. A large frothy head shows excellent retention all throughout and yields lots of thick lacing.
The nose is fairly straightforward and focused on notes of bready and cracker malts. Aromas of rice, lemon and grassy hops.
The taste is clean with notes of cracker, biscuit and bready malts. Lightly peppery notes, flavors of lemon and grass and a touch of hops bitterness add balance.
Light bodied with a mouthfeel that is in between crisp and smooth. The finish is dry and somewhat crisp. The carbonation is moderate.
This is my first beer from this brewery and I’m impressed. It is finely balanced and very easy to drink. I would have again.
