Keg and Lantern is a craft brewery borne from the needs of a vibrant nook of Brooklyn, quickly gaining a reputation for providing beers of the highest order. The intentional focus on creating new and exciting recipes that build on a strong classic foundation is precisely what makes this brewery excitingly superior and undeniably delicious. Consistently offering some of the best small batch brews in Greenpoint, the extensive variety of well-balanced beers have been a massive hit throughout New York City and have put Keg and Lantern at the forefront of the craft brewing scene.
Our mission from the beginning has been to create a wide and evolving collection of beers for everyone in the neighborhood, continually expanding on an inclusive draft list without pretention and providing a fun atmosphere that invites locals and beer connoisseurs to come together and enjoy. We are grateful to call Greenpoint and Red Hook our home, and Keg and Lantern looks forward to growing with these communities as we head into Brooklyn’s post-pandemic future.
From its creation in 2009, Keg and Lantern has proudly become an integral part of Greenpoint, offering a wide range of beers and specializing in foeder fermented sour ales and hazy IPAs. We have worked hard to provide a selection of beers as diverse as the clientele and unique tapestry of the neighborhood. We have been churning out local favorites from our basement brewery in Greenpoint since 2014 - and even became NYC’s first brewery to serve canned crowlers in 2015. Whether you call North Brooklyn home or hail from far away, Keg and Lantern is the community’s go-to brewery for sports, gatherings, and quality eats.
