Brewery notes: RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT | 8.6 ABV 44 IBU
It’s Big. It’s Dark. It’s Roasty. This King of all Stouts originates in the 1800s when bier makers attempted to win over the Czar. Come on down and see if we can win you over with this delicious dark bier!

Had this on tap at the brewery tap room.
Smooth beer, Malty. Starts out with some roast, about half way thru you get some dark fruit. A little chocolate mixed in. A micro amount of coffee towards the finish. ABV is very well hidden. 44 IBU's ?? it doesn't seem like it. It has hardly any bitterness and really is almost neutral. There is no bitter bite. I didn't ask but this beer maybe a Lager not an Ale.
