Appearance: Arrives with a cloudy pink grapefruit juice; the head has great retention and delivers some nice lacing, too
Smell: Blackberry with both sweet and tart tones
Taste: Bready, up front, with a growing blackberry fruit flavor; lactic tartness builds into the mid-palate; the finish was fruity with a touch of puckering tartness
Mouthfeel: Light body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Very refreshing; great balance between the natural sweet and tart tones of the fruit
