On tap at 508. A clear dark gold beer with a small, slowly settling head and lots of clingy lace all over the glass. Very floral hop aroma, not big or in-your-face but quite flowery; vague fruitiness and toasted malts underneath.
Floral hops dominate the taste as well, sitting prominently on top of a moderately sweet caramel malt base. Lightly toasted character, a touch of fruit, dry finish, with a bit of a lingering hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste.
Medium body, moderately carbonated, easy enough to drink. Could stand to be a tad crisper perhaps, and is not as clean and refreshing as I’d like for the style. Pretty decent overall, but didn’t stand out for me amongst this breweries’ other offerings. Instructive single-hop beer that affords a decent look at the cluster hop.
