The smell is predominantly sour and funky, but in the taste the hops come through much more and the sourness fades away. I'd be interested to see what this would be like with less dry hopping and an extra addition such as grains of paradise.

Light red with orange hues. An off-white froth dissolves in good time. A bit musty aroma-wise with slightly soured pear and orange notes and yeast forthcoming. Noticeably dry and tart. Further exploration reveals notes of grain and more light fruits such as apricot, orange and white grape. There's a hint of sour in the finish. Light bodied and goes down in a hurry.

What a wonderful bookend beer to the summer.

On tap at CBC 2016 - day 2. Barnyard funk, brett, honey and flowery hops. Dry and bitter-sweet, the aromas perfectly balanced. Some oak in the background.
