this is so good! an awesome collaboration between these two. a wine barrel aged wild and funky brew with a whole bunch of fresh peaches. the peach in this hazy orange tinted brew are incredible, fresh and natural as can be, peak of ripeness too, juicy and fleshy, like taking the first bite of a leaner with each sip, magic. the beauty though here, is that this is anything but one dimensional. its super interesting on the yeast side, with a mature brett mix and a bit of lemony tartness, it helps the sweetness of the fruit not become too much, and it gives this an almost summery refreshing vibe, faster finishing than i thought it might be, and really quite farmy and rustic too. there is a belgian layer running through it as well, lightly estery, vinous, and perfect with the peaches. the oak is sturdy here, especially with the fluffy wheat in the feel, light vanilla and honey notes to it, but also some tannins from the wine and an additional fruity layer that all seem to highlight the fresh peach. its pillow soft in feel, just tart, and very well carbonated, lively feeling for the whole glass. about as much real peach as i have known in any beer, they did this part brilliantly, and it was rad to find this one on tap! two of my favorites coming together expertly for this, id love to find a bottle...

750ml bottle. Stemmed glass. Cloudy golden yellow body, one finger frothy white head, great retention, a little bit of lacing. Smell is freshly squeezed peaches; a bit of peach fuzz, light oak, touch of leather, fair bit of fructose, more peach fuzz. Touch of citrus. Flavour is even more cohesive in a peach fuzz way; plenty of peach flavours, a bit of sweet fructose tempered just a bit by the peach skin and fuzz, it's not quite peach rings, but it's more than halfway there. There is a mild dry vinous presence, dab of oak tannins, light leather and lemon. Wonderful peach presence that isn't artificial at all. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation, smooth and even sort of liquid fuzzy on the finish; mild-moderate acetic acidity that is not bracing but still makes the salivary glands shiver. This was a damn tasty peach saison, really enjoyed this one a lot.

A: Lightly cloudy, darker straw
S: Peaches, oak, white wine, grape, musty, hay, vanilla
T: Huge natural peach, big oak, incredibly balanced sour, light lactic acid, white grape, cereal grain, vinous
M: Light medium body
O: Exactly what i want in a peach wild ale. Huge peach that doesn't have the peach o artificial vibe, balanced sour and not a lactic bomb, oak barrel comes through. Phenomenal collab
