A mixed-culture oak aged saison brewed with spelt and unmalted wheat. Boiled for multiple hours with aged whole cone hops, & fermented in stainless steel with a favorite Belgian yeast strain to preferred dryness. Transferred into French Oak wine barrels and further fermented and aged with resident South City cultures for 9 months, Nothing to Find was then conditioned naturally with a house blend of Brettanomyces.

poured from a 750mL bottle into a stemmed bulb glass. pours a hazy orange with minimal white foam that fades away super quickly. smells of lemon, oak, a touch of white wine. taste is lemony tart with oak, hops and wine in the background. mouthfeel is full enough, although it’s a bit carbonated. overall, a decent farmhouse ale that’s not overly funky or sour. a little one dimensional but a very solid and easy drinking beer.

Slightly hazy golden orange body. Smell and palate is fairly oaky, big green apple acetone, light leather, sweet grainy malt. Wheat germ, dry. Lighter but crisp, quite dry on the backend. Good, nothing too crazy but a very solid drinking tart saison.
