Next up in our rotating dry-hopped saison series is another singular feature in Loral Cryo. This beer reminds us of dropping your Bubblicious in a hay pile, lemon pepper Triscuits, guzzling watered down frozen Lemonades and Arnold Schwarzenegger's lair in Batman & Robin.

Pale straw yellow in color with a lightly hazy complexion. There’s a quarter inch of of frothy eggshell white on top. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of sweet pale malt and a delicate, earthy yeast. I’m tasting pale Belgian malt and just a touch of lightly grassy hops. The mouth is very light and refreshing.

This has become my favorite of the prism saison single hop series. I appreciate the clean, dry finish which allows me to have more than one without overwhelming my palate. It's just funky enough to feel European and a welcome departure from high gravity (india) pale ales.

16 oz can, best by 3/22/21, into Boulevard Can Glass.
Has a rather clear pale straw color and a 2 finger bone white head that recedes to a ring and leaves good lacing.
Aroma is floral notes and various types of melon. Slight clove, slight marshmallow.
Flavor starts grassy and floral, with notes of tangerine rind, lemongrass, lemon, pear, and very slight circus peanut.
Feel is crisp, semi-smooth, gritty carbonation, and has a bunch of cling on the finish. Mild alcohol heat burns the gums at the finish.
Overall, a very bright entry into the Prism series. Not my favorite personally, but it still has some of that Prism magic to bring it to the finish line.
Price paid : $10.99 / 4 pack
