Next up in the Prism series are 2 American grown varietals that aren’t classics with the style of saison. Brewed with the same small but sturdy malt bill, and complemented with aromas of strawberry and bubblegum, all wrapped up with a kiss of bitterness at the finish. Drinking this beer reminds us of braiding sticks of Juicy Fruit and Fruit Stripes, those little strawberry candies your grandma had on her coffee table and that time we saw War On Drugs in a cafeteria at SLU in 2011.

Light gold to yellow in color with a fingernail of off white head on top. There’s light Brussels lacing on the glass. The aroma is of lightly crackery malt and lightly fruity yeast with notes of blackberries and blueberries. I’m tasting light, crackery malt and fruity yeast with light notes of blackberries and blueberries. The mouth is very light, dry, and crisp.
