On tap at Mekong In Richmond, VA.

This one pours a very dark black color, with a very small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like caramel, espresso, brownie batter, charred oak, and vanilla.

This was a bit better than the specific Answer variant that I had next door. It’s very barrel forward – there’s charred oak, vanilla, marshmallow, caramel, and a sort of dark espresso like vibe. There’s brownie batter and super fudgy overtones.

This is creamy and silky, and not all that boozy, with a great drinkability.

It’s nice. Real nice. But moreso grandma baking cookies, “nice.” It’s just pure and smooth - but it lacks that finishing touch - kind of like the feeling of peeling off Candice Swanpoel’s panties (Raul can only dream, right?). Again, I’m feeling it, but with a little bit more pizazz, I would be FEELING it.

Absolutely elegant to behold. Deep brown in hue. Sable to chestnut colored head.
Nose is a walk through heaven. Deep caramel and chocolate, lush but not too sweet. Hints of a deep coffee roast that are delicately bitter and almost creamy, like an affogato. And this is where the Bourbon barrel lazily steps forward. A tad later than the others but this bugger brings a sophisticated sweet and heat. This sultry saint is decadent, graceful, bold and subtle, profoundly complex and an utter joy to take in.
