Formerly Hank's Harvest Ale
We combined all locally-grown hops from Cape Farms with pressed grapes from the Cape May Winery to create a flavorful, lighter beer that's perfect in harvest season. This ale, delicately balanced with just a hint of the grape, is a truly unique Cape May beer you won't find anywhere else!

Served on-tap at the brewery.
A - Pours hazy golden amber with a nice one finger tall white head, quickly dissipating, leaving sticky rings of lace on the glass.
S - Smell is a nice mix of grape skins, mildly toasted pale malt and earthy hops. Not much else really, I was expecting a bit more from this one.
T - Taste is pretty similar to the nose but the grapes really come through more and more as it warms up. Not really getting much hops from it other than the mild bitterness. Finish is a bit fruity with some bitterness backing it up, leaving the palate dried long after consumption.
M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Bitter, grape forward feel pretty much from the start through the finish.
O - A interesting harvest ale. I enjoyed the inclusion of the grapes but the base hoppy IPA didn't really stand up to them to well.
