Poured into a tasting glass at the brewery. What is not noted in the name/description is this is a pickle gose.
A: A light golden color with some nice lacing. Head was hard to determine on the pour.
S: Believe it or not, dill pickle smell! Pickle mixes with some sourness and maybe a bit of the salt. Mostly pickle smells though.
T: Tartness up front with...you guessed it, dill pickle flavors. There is some slight tart fruit mixed in, but the pickle is the overwhelming flavor. A bit of yeast and salt mix with the pickle to give a dry tart puckering finish.
M: Light, good carbonation, dry.
O: Ok, this was a first. Interesting beer, not one I would get again and not one I could finish an entire pint glass of. Thank god for the tasting glass. Sorry Cape May, love lots of your beers, not this one.

Summer refresher! Creaminess balm aces out the sour quite nicely. Good mouthfeel.
