large shared bottle.
Dark but clear, with a weak head.
Wild or Belgian yeast notes dominate the aroma and overwhelm the dark roasted grains in the taste.

Thin off white head without much retention but nice lacing on a jet black body, no light getting through. Aroma is pretty much dominated by the rum. Additional notes of dark fruit and cherry. Flavor follows with more rum and dark fruit. Some wood also but not much in the way of chocolate until late in the finish. Fairly full body and moderate carbonation. This is I think their 4th or 5th boss tale release. It was brewed with the owner of COS, a local surf board crafter. It's good overall. For a special bottle release I wanted more but definitely worth trying. Green Room is certainly starting to pull away from several other brewers in the area. If I could get more from the chocolate to balance the rum I would have enjoyed this one more.
