Black body, tan head. An aroma of light cocoa and little else. Lots of dark chocolate and roast in the flavor with a tiny hint of vanilla and a dry roasts finish. Not bad but kind of one dimensional and bordering on overly dry. It seems like it's missing soemthing, but it seems like it could barrel age nicely.

Purchased a 750 ml at Jax Beach in the Green Room bar.
Pours thick, almost like syrup. Pitch black with minimal foa. Lacing sticks around for a while.
Smell is not very potent at all. Smells like your average imperial stout.
HOWEVER, the taste makes up for it. Cocoa, sure. Vanilla sure,....but not the sugary feel you find in some imperial stouts. This one has a great feel. A little too much carbonation, but not too heavy. Cannot taste the alcohol at all. Great body. One of the best imperial stouts I ever had.
Need to go there more often to pick up some beers. Sure wish they sold in bottles/cans at grocery stores.
