A: single finger head. Hazy amber with crimson hues.
S: musty, maybe some pine
T: not your typical barelywine, nice honey flavor which usually isn't very prominent. The malt ad hops seem more balanced, more like the english rather than american barleywine style.
M: moderate carbonation and medium body.
Overall: very drinkable and balanced beer

A - a small white head on a hazy, copper colored body. The head settles quickly and leaves light lace.
S - thick, bready malt with a lot of fruity honey.
T - toffee and thick toasted malt up front. the honey comes out in the middle and remains strong through the finish with more smooth malt.
M - a moderately thick body, average carbonation, and a sweet finish.
D - very smooth with a mild malt character that allows the honey to show through. It almost reminds me of a helles bock.

A: golden in color, its a filtered beer. Not much lacing in a 10oz tulip like glass. clear.
s: honey is the overall nose of this beer, which lots of sweet malt and some hint of citrus hops. Sweet sugar as it warms hits the nose. Honey and oranges as it warms to 50to 55f.
t: very nice balanced, not boozy at all. dangerous smoothness. Goes down like honey dew vine water as JB says. In fact its the best BW I had outside CCB. he talking about casking it on a bourbon barrel, which be world class then. anyway, very sweet malt front end, and some yeast almost Belgian like, some sourness. Just enough hops to balance, great stuff.
m: medium body, low carbonation
O: outstanding BW, and I had 1 sample and 1 whole beer.
Don't think you want to many and drive home though. But you could very easy have many of these and pay for it later.
