A: single finger head with nice circumferential lacing. Hazy state and golden body.

S: lemon and earthy with coriander.

T: more lemon and coriander in the flavor with nice Belgian yeast as well.

M: light body and medium to high carbonation.

Overall a nice saison. The lemon grass actually comes through nicEly. A very well done saison

Poured into a tulip.

A: Pours a clear, golden color. Body is an illuminating yellow in the light, not transparent, slightly hazy. Dense 1.5 inch head, clean white with tons of bubbles, after a couple minutes foam fades away to leave a sticky lace around the rim. Very inviting.

S: Lemon grass, slightly sweet like honey, herbal hops. Very clean aroma, Belgian yeast is prominent yet subtle.

T: Man, what a smooth saison. One of the best transitions of flavors I've experienced for style. Smooth combination of sweet honey malts, spicy Belgian yeast and citrus lemon up front. Slight touch of carbonation burns on the back slide for a quick second. Leaves a lingering taste of earthy, herbal tones.

M: Bubbly all around making for an easy drinking experience. Slightly bitter which adds to the other flavors, instead of dulling flavors.

O: Extremely drinkable, flavorful and true to style. I know this beer would age tremendously well. All I could ask for is some wild Bret yeast to make it funky, but that is just my preference.

Ok... I have to admit. I was not really excited about trying this beer, but after having it I would have to say thats in the top 5 best Saisons Ive had.

appearance: golden with some good head rentention and lacing

smell: nice citrus herbal nose and the essence of asian cooking

taste: amazing, none of the spices are overdone, They are hard to pick out, but the whole thing comes together like a thai dish

mouthfeel: medium bodied

drinkability: this was really well thought out and executed.
