This beer is released only a few weeks after Green Room's one year anniversary and commemorates the 100th batch of beer brewed at this brewery. Another nice feat for Eric.
Description of this one is an IPA brewed with summit hops and Persian lime on grapefruit.
A: single finger head with nice retention on a clear bright golden with a slight copper hued body. Excellent lacing.
S: nice full aroma with mostly floral, light pine and grapefruit citrus hops. DIPA aroma in a self described standard IPA brew.
T: a nicely hop and malt balanced IPA. This one is mildly complex with the hops providing a mild earthy and resiny hop brew up front with floral and light citrus hop finish. The malts are a little bland and add more to the body than the flavor however a toasted quality is appreciated.
M: medium body but still feels a bit thin with moderate carbonation.
Overall: a well rounded and well balanced brew. The drinkability for the style is excellent however it doesn't stand out from others in a highly popular genre. I listed it as an IPA as that is how it is described at the brewery however it borders on DIPA level.
