An oaked version of their Double Overhead DIPA served at the brewery.
Deep clear amber with a decent head and lacing.
The strength of both the aroma and the taste is more IPA than DIPA.
Herbal and fruity hops, yet not much citrus here excepting grapefruit peel.
Malt is more toffee than bready. Mild to moderate bitterness.Only grapefruit perl lingers on in the aftertaste.
Body seems a tad thin, perhaps due to slightly low carbonation.

Single finger sense off white head with excellent retention and lacing on a clear golden with copper hue body. Aroma of toasted, pale malts, tangerine and orange citrus, mild oak presence, hoping for more in the flavor. Full nose, nice hoppy and inviting aroma. Medium body, carbonation isnt really here whoch suggests this may actually be on nitro making it very smooth. One of the better nitro tap IPAs I have had. Flavor has a very nice degree of oak throughout with the double overhead base beer providing the relatively sweet citrus up front and tart citrus finish and toasted malt base.
