This is straight West Coast IPA, brewed with Citra and Mosaic hops for aromatic notes reminiscent of citrus and tropical fruit. It will be Dope and Dank!

Clear golden yellow brew with plenty of foam in the tall, narrow Kölsch glass. The aroma comes through nicely. Citrus, grilled fruit, and something musty. Medium body. A fruity and tangy delight.
It starts with some malty sweetness but the finish is rather dry. I think of lime peels with some mango. I wouldn't call it dank, nor does it remind me of the popular herb. Bitterness is quite moderate. Highly drinkable and another delicious hop showcase from El Segundo. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Bottlecraft, apparently.

Saw Geoi raving about this one on his weekly email and I insta-wanted it. El Segundo pretty much kills everything I’ve had from them and hoping this would be the same. Bottle read, “This is straight West Coast IPA, brewed with Citra and Mosaic hops for aromatic notes reminiscent of citrus and tropical fruit. It will be Dope and Dank!” Citra and Mosaic? Yes, please.
Poured a golden clear color with three fingers of frothy white head. Lots of slow moving bubbles creeping up the sides of the glass, reminding me of a shaken snow globe. Excellent uneven semi-layered lacing. World-class foamy retention. A fantastic looking beer. (Overall - 4.50)
Smelled dry Mosaic, bubble gum, spoiled fruit, melon, grapefruit rind, passion fruit, floral, lime and lemon zest. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste followed the nose. Still that dry, trashy Mosaic up front. Also bubble gum, spoiled citrus fruit, melon, grapefruit rind, passion fruit, Citra, floral, lime, pine, herbal and lemon zest. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, dry finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Just an outstanding West Coast IPA. Really liked it. (Overall - 4.00)

Poured from a 22-ounce bottle, date 3/5/18, clear light golden under an one-inch thick white head which has good retention and leaves spotty lace. Aroma is very floral with pineapple, melon, grapefruit, passion fruit and some bubble gum notes. Flavor has some dankness/herbaceousness with grapefruit pith. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter and resiny. Solid.
