Sure, it’s a full on meltdown, but there’s no need to seek shelter from this hop-plosion! Bask in all the tropical glory of this hazy IPA and let that hopwave radiate you to your core.

Pours a hazy lemon straw color with a white head. Smell is fruity ,malty and hoppy . Taste has citrus ,pale malts ,pear ,passion fruit. Mouth is hoppy fruity more dry than sweet. Had some bitterness in finish.

Hazy amber with long-lasting foam in the narrow GameCraft Pilsner glass. Quite sharp and spritzy on the tongue. The aroma is the best feature, with intense citrus and melon. But the flavor is not only acidic but quite unrelentingly bitter. As a regular IPA it might be drinkable, if over the top. Fortunately the alcohol is not excessive.
Overall it's fruity but harsh. This is not an experience to be repeated for me, but El Segundo puts on a good show. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine. The label has to be seen to be appreciated, but it's a hop-pocalyptic event. Dated 01/21/22.

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England IPA
Glass: Firestone 16-oz. Spiegelau IPA glass
Price: $4.19
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: March 3, 2021
Consumed: March 5, 2021
Misc.: Canned on Feb. 1, 2021
Snuck over to Windmill Farms to see if they had some North Park cans I was eyeing and alas they did (and this). Their website called this “Sure, it’s a full on meltdown, but there’s no need to seek shelter from this hop-plosion! Bask in all the tropical glory of this hazy IPA and let that hopwave radiate you to your core.” Mentioned hops were Citra, Mosaic, Nelson, Simcoe, Amarillo and Centennial.
Poured a light golden hazy color with four fingers of rocky white head. Could see some bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. World-class foamy lacing. Perfect retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled a nice mix of tropical notes. In order got pineapple, stone fruit, grapefruit, passion fruit, orange, tangerine, papaya, mango, peach, lemon, bubblegum and floral. For mentioned hops Mosaic and Citra stood out, with lesser Amarillo, Nelson and Simcoe. Even better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose but followed it somewhat. In order got pineapple, pear, stone fruit, grapefruit, peach, passion fruit, orange, tangerine, papaya, mango, lemon, bubblegum, floral and pine. Citra led the way, followed by Mosaic, Amarillo and Nelson. Grew on me a bit as it went down. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Juicy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
I think I overrated this slightly but it was probably outstanding. (Overall - 4.00)
