Same batch as Bill, 3/14/24
Straw to gold in hue. Capped by a fluffy whitehead. Solid retention with layered, scatter lacing.
Nose starts off with a subtle grapefruit rind followed by undertones of earthy mango and grass. A few more sniffs brings it back to a mildly sweet orange.
Taste is a flatter, gently bitter ride of understated grapefruit, pineapple, and a hint of pine meets spruce.
Mouthfeel is in the shy side of medium, good carb, and a mouthfeel that nods in the direction of a fluffy NEIPA, but only a hair.

canned 3/14/24, pured into a modified perfect pint on 4/9/24. Pours very pale yellow. I personally prefer a deeper, richer color in an IPA. Very clear. 1 Finger white, dense, almost creamy head interspersed with pinhead sized bubbles. Reasonably good persistence. I’m not getting an identifiable smell. Too subtle for me to detect. Pretty subtle flavor, too. Some grapefruit rind. Some noticeable hop bitterness on the back end. Kind of frothy in the mouth. Overall, an ok IPA but not a superior example of a WC IPA, although in fairness the can does not claim it as a WCIPA
