On cask at Moeder Lambic. I first thought "This tastes almost exactly like the gueuze I just drank". That makes sense seein that this is Oude Gueuze l'Ancienne, just not allowed to referment. It was orange, citrus and mild brett in the aroma. Refreshing lemon character. Drank this one quite quickly.

On tap at Moeder Lambic.

Sweet and funky aroma. Honey, apricots with a certain gamey quality. Graham cracker with a hint of strawberry. Grassy and earthy.

Hazy golden orange. Fluffy white head that slowly recedes leaving no lacing.

Fruity and just slightly sweet upfront. Acidity is subdued and on the citrusy side. Graham cracker pilsner malt and floury wheat.

Low carbonation with medium body. Quite full for the style.

Refreshing balance of acidity and funk with nice young characteristics of malt.

Tilquin Lambic Blend
It was my first Lambic I had the pleasure to try. It was occasioned 9 - these days Geuze.
I fell in love with this style, very good beer, although in retrospect I think at the beginning too difficult.
Geuze is something special, this is no ordinary beer is an art. Unfortunately, art is not for everyone because
it is a drink for people who know what they want from Geuze and what to expect from him.
Yellow, turbid very characteristic of these mixtures.
Foam virtually non-existent, leaving only around a glass "beads", a remnant of the foam.
The smell very heavy, it can be discouraging, you can be found in the notes of the type of Raclette cheeses, Le Rustique.
The taste also penetrates the characteristic taste of cheeses, mold, slightly metallic. Beer is strongly astringent, dry,
astringent, not too saturated.
