This APA style brew merges a commemoration of recently fallen Kiwi helicopter crew with NZ northern hops with American crafting legend Glen Falconer.
Flight of the Falcon Looks like the real deal... hazy enough, amber enough and lacy enough.
Smells balanced. (A welcome accomplishment in which too many NZ crafters pile in the hops as short-cut instead of blending malts to meet the task.)
Tastes reflect the same, nicely. And it sits well in the mouth, too.
Overall, a fine tribute to Glen Falconer and Northwest American crafting that grew out of a more balanced use of hops that, Mike's claims, was around 2010.
