12 ounce bottle into a tulip glass. Bottled 11/1/16, had 1/19/17.
Pours a golden/honey color, hazy, with a one inch foamy head and a fair amount of soapy lacing. Active carbonation. The smell is floral hops, yeast, strong honey, caramel, light malt, a generally spicy aroma. Very nice aroma, overall. The taste also leads with the floral hops, then light pine and dankness. The honey is less prevalent than the nose- but still key, the malt provides a solid backbone, caramel, yeast, still a light general spiciness, a sweet note on the finish. Smooth, a bit creamy, a solid body for the style, well carbonated.
Nice malt/hop balance, smells great. The honey is really the star of both the flavor and aroma. Certainly worth a purchase.
