12 ounce bottle into a pilsner glass. Bottled 12/26/20, had 6/22/21.
Pours a dark brown, semi opaque, with a two inch foamy head with a decent amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of malt, caramel, light chocolate and coffee, light herbal hops, a little black pepper in the head. Generally the same flavors- chocolate, malt, some caramel, light coffee, a light herbal hop flavor, a little bitterness. Smooth, fairly creamy, a thin feeling lighter body, well carbonated.
A good example of the style. Very good aroma, with a good flavor. The body could be a little fuller. Certainly enjoyable, and worth a try at a good price point.
