On tap at Greenbush.
A- Pours a hazed amber color with some orange hues when light hits it. Half finger off white head shows poor retention. Specks of lace are all over the glass.
S- Aroma has caramel and toasted malts in the front blend with hints of brown sugar and light coriander. Ginger comes through in the backend of the aroma with also a nice crisp earthy hop to it.
T- Caramel malts and light toasted malts in the front of the beer. Hints of light earthy hops and ginger comes through toward the middle. Light caramel malts in the ending with a nice coriander ending. Very end has light bitter hop bite and smooth alcohol.
M- Medium mouthfeel. Carbonation is good for the style. Toasted and caramel malts are left on the palate with a hint of ginger. Aftertaste is light alcohol, coriander, and hints of caramel malts. Flavors are balanced with nothing being too over the top. No off flavors in the beer itself while drinking. Light alcohol drying on the palate.
O- This is a well made beer but I would say my least favorite out of their line-up. The alcohol is low enough that you can drink more than a pint but for me one was enough.
